Which Serum ?

I am often tempted to purchase a serum but am not sure how to choose the right one for my skin which is dry and starting to line (age 43). Also can you tell me exactly what a serum does?

Feel Unique Answer

The word serum comes from medical terminology; we use it in skin care as it is used to describe very active, concentrated formulae, usually used for very specific conditions such as hypersensitivity, dryness or acne.  There are many serums on the market and they do differ from moisturisers by offering a targetted solution to a skin problem, they are normally recommended to use under your daily moisturiser.

In short if you feel your skin is in need of specific help or just an anti-aging boost then a serum can make a huge difference in the condition and texture of the skin. It is said to be the difference between taking a single supplement and a multivitamin.

Highly recommend

  • Murad cellular replenishing serum - Great if you are suffering from dry or dehydrated skin does not leave the skin greasy or heavy in any way just binds in moisture. Good for all ages.
  • Thalgo exceptional serum - Superior anti aging formula for the over 40 skin.
  • Ole henriksen Truth Serum - Fantastic if you feel your skin is tired or dull, full of vitamin C and anti-oxidants. This comes out top as many of the Beauty editor’s favorites.

  1. Anyone see Gok last night on serums? Two of the 3 are available at Feel Unique, L'Oreal's Wrinkle Decrease Serum and estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair!
